So it's spring and it feels like Summer here in Florida even though the other half of the world is actually experiencing what spring really feels like. Spring and summer are my favorite times of the year because of the flowers, the water, the Sun dresses, the bikinis, and of course the sun kissed tan skin tone.

It's Memorial Day and I simply want to thank all the men and women who are serving and served this beautiful country so people like you and I can enjoy things in life in peace, after all it is the land of dreams.  I am just thankful that I had the opportunity to be in a place in time where I can express myself freely and creatively.

I love this anklet! My mom got it for me for our wedding and oh boy do I love it! I can't stop saying how much I love this piece of accessory. It makes the perfect jingle when I walk and it is so Arabesque, reminds me of belly dancing! Alright my glitsies have a wonderful weekend and see you all on Monday!

Spring Night Lovin'

Oh I love spring nights. They are not hot yet and they are no longer cold; they are at this perfect temperature that when the wind brushes against your face you feel cool and relaxed as if you are laying next to the ocean and listening to the water come and go on the shore. Pretty awesome right!

Mini Floral Dress

Finally, I am able to fit into my mini floral dress again! I still have a tummy that I'm still working on but I'll get to the point I was before pregnancy. This whole transformation made me realize that your body is a continuous working progress. My body stretched and gained weight during pregnancy and then it went back to it's somewhat original shape after delivery. Us women have a skin of an elastic rubber band.

My Wedding Gown Part 2

It's Monday and here's part 2 of making my wedding gown (if you missed Part 1 then click HERE to see it). I simply cannot explain how much I loved my wedding gown; all I can say is that if I would redo the whole process again (marrying my husband over and over again) I would choose the same dress, same designer, with the same people (my mom and my sister by my side during every fitting). Sneak Peek at My Wedding Gown Part 1

So the following weekend will mark our one year anniversary! I'm super stoked because my plan again is to enjoy each other's company as much as possible.

My wedding gown was custom designed for me from my really good friend Elina at Elina Sheripova (click on her name to see her awesome website). I absolutely loved it and I felt so beautiful in it.

It's All About the Statement Jewelry

I went out last night with some ladies to a wine bar; as tempted as I was, I skipped the wine for the night. You see, I love wine but I'm watching myself not to get in the habit of drinking wine all he time so my daughter doesn't grow up watching me drink. Now I  know what you're thinking "But JuJu it's just wine!" I know it's just wine but it's a decision that I kind of got into subconsciously. I'm not saying that the mothers who do drink in front of their children are necessarily bad influence, all I'm saying is that for me I wouldn't like to drink in front of my daughter. This also doesn't mean that I am not going to drink from time to time and it might be in front of her; I'm simply saying that I am cutting back on the wine!

Anyway, take a look at yesterday's outfit. It's simple as it gets, but I dressed it up a little with some statement jewelry. As you can see, I still have quite a way to go before I am back to my original weight before pregnancy. I welcome you to join me on my journey of loosing the baby fat weight! I don't like my weight right now so this means a lot to me that I am able to share my image with all of you. Cheers!
