Happy Easter (B&W Floral Dress)

Two things: 1) Easter is this Sunday - YAAAYYY and 2) one of my all-time favorite dress that I actually designed.

1) Easter is a big deal in my family, just like Christmas. I cannot wait until our daughter is a little older so we can get her into some more traditional activities such as hiding a cross in this dessert called Keleche and whoever finds it gets some sort of a reward, and hiding Hershey kisses all around the house to find throughout the whole month. 

2) I love this dress so very much. Honestly, I don't remember where exactly I got the fabric from but I've had it for the longest time I can remember; matter fact, I had it since I was a teenager. As a teenager, I designed clothes constantly, mainly gowns and dresses and I still have the sketch books. One of the sketches was this particular dress specifically designed around this floral black and white fabric. I designed it and I immediately wanted it to come to live. I ended up giving it to my neighbor at the time to sew it so the compensation would have helped her financially. It came out just the way I had envisioned it in my head and in the sketch book. It came to live, I love it, and I wore it on Easter of 2008.
