End of NYFW SS15: My Favorites
It's hard to say that the following designers where my absolute favorite because I loved almost every other show. If I put all of my actual favorite pieces from every single show, this post would be endless. As hard as it was, I have narrowed down to some of my favorites from the list that I thought they were not the obvious choice such as The Row, Alexander Wang, Badgley Mischka, DVF, Donna Karen, Kate Spade New York, Marissa Webb, Michael Kors, Narciso Rodriguez, Oscar de la Renta, Rachel Zoe, Rag & Bone, Tibi, and Victoria Beckham - although they are all my favorites. Let's start with:
Reem Acra
This lady has talent beyond imagination. Maybe it's the Middle Eastern common connection we share, but her pieces are simply perfection! I found myself admiring, loving, and wanting every single piece from her show. The feminine and translucent fabrics make any lady looking more beautiful as an angel. Those fabrics flow so effortlessly and those cuts are just at the right places.
Tadashi Shoji
Ahh Tadashi! The fluid fabrics and silhouettes are so dreamy and comfortable. They remind me of something you would wear in Paris walking down a small town tight brick street into a cloud of airy perfumes that only you can dream of. Yes that dreamy!!!
Zimmermann
The loose fit on Zimmermann's looks make me want to get all of these pieces including the bathing suits! I mean look at those bathing suits?!? I wouldn't mind walking down with those pieces in a Caribbean island!
Tome
Oh Tome! The structures yet loose and fitting pieces are just the perfect look for walking down a NY street for a date night or a night out with the ladies. Loving the collection!
Rodarte
Rodarte reminded me that I was a mermaid and I loved the fishnet so much that I perhaps turned into a fishnet. The shoes and the mix fabrics were a seller for me!
Pamela Roland
The cuts and the simplicity of Pamela Roland collection made me want to go back to basics but in a lady-like form with a touch of a flowy silhouette. Loving these two pieces!
Thank you so much for reading my post; have an enjoyable start of your weekend and see you all on Monday, cheers!
