4th of July Weekend.

Hope you all had a wonderful and safe 4th of July weekend! This past weekend we took a small road trip down south of Florida to see my husband's family members. It was such a lovely time, so relaxing, enjoying good company and good food.

^So our first stop - going there - was at this almost hidden park in the middle of nowhere. It had a huge pond, a walkway, beautiful sitting areas, and a playground. Oh did I mention ducks too!?!? As soon as we got out of the car, they got out of the water and stormed towards us, thinking we where some sort of Food Gods and had plenty of food to throw their way.

 ^My husband introduced me to Steak n Shake and their chocolate milkshakes are a great must-have while you're on the road traveling.

We went to a restaurant called Oceanside Grill and it was amazing! The food was delicious, the waiters were so friendly, and the overall atmosphere of this place was filled with so much joy. The owner of the restaurant was walking around and talking to the customers as if she knew them for years; she was filled with so much charisma that it was hard not to love her from the beginning! For our appetizer, we ordered the flaming lemon cheese. They bring this flat piece of cheese, light it with fire and then they put it down with lemon. AAhhhh, just writing about it melts my mouth again...it was soooooooo delicious!! Yummy!!!
